(6-07 Fangoria ) My theory, I'm almost 46 now, so I have a pretty good idea about sex, I think that men are freight trains and that women are butterflies. I think that women are charged by nature to choose the right partner to have children with and if they make the wrong decision they're gonna mess up the human race in one generation. So, they feel the weight of this very strongly. I mean, I come from a biological perspective. I think that human beings are animals in that our behavior can be explained through basic need. So women have to be forgiven for the fact that they can totally be in love with you and then (unintelligible) and this confuses guys. But when you think about it, that is the psychology that is best developed to be able to change your mind if you get in the middle of a relationship and find that that guy is not the one you want to have babies with you have to be able to close the chapter and move on. But guys have a very different job. I ask myself why God, why did nature create us? With such a high infant mortality rate, why are half of us infertile? There's got to be a good reason why half of us can't have children because so many babies are dying all over the world. What I say is that women are just as strong as men, pound for pound. If you meet a woman and she is just as heavy as you are, and she's trained, don't play with her. You might get your ass kicked. And I've had enough fight experience with women with less weight than me who can still kick my ass, you know? But in the second trimester of pregnancy, through the age of seven, when a child can run effectively by themselves, a woman needs backup because she has an extra person to account for. So that the male psychology says, "I will die for you." If the boogie man comes, I will die for you. I will not ask why, I will not have a problem with it, I will go into my death with a smile on my face feeling proud about myself in the death. And the only reason is I will be fighting for you, my woman, and I will be fighting for the baby in your arms and the only reason that I think that's my baby is your word. Now that takes a certain level of commitment, a very deep level commitment, so I say that guys are like freight trains; it's hard to get us going, it's hard to get a guy to commit, but once he commits, he will be in love with that woman for the rest of his life. I've had lots of girlfriends, I'm still in love with them. And I will never touch any of them but my own girlfriend now, but in my own heart, if any one +of them called me up and said I am in mortal danger right now, I don't think I could help but try and help them. But, males and females are...I mean we are all human beings and want the same thing, but we have slightly different agendas and I guess we're just trying to work out...am I talking too much?
Don't you think human beings have evolved past this?
There's not been enough time. From the beginning of the Cromagnan movement out of Africa up through Europe and over the land masses, it's not been that much time. It's not enough time to affect the psychology. We're the same creatures that crawled out of Africa as far as I'm concerned. I don't even think we've lost a significan amount of hair, actually.
